Template-based, supplied content and one revision round. OBS session covers one computer and one streaming platform; hardware, internet troubleshooting, custom overlays and ongoing stream support are separate. Domain, hosting and commerce costs separate. Website includes 60 free days of Care Plus, with ongoing care available after that. In the demo, owner edits (including merch listings) stay in your browser and checkout is simulated. On your site, listing edits are saved behind your owner sign-in. Production setup is agreed before work begins.

Scope, deliverables, hosting and third-party costs agreed before work. Paid packages include 60 free days of Care Plus, bug fixes included. Ongoing care is optional after that.

Under the hood.

Arch Linux on the desk. Visual Studio Code open. A terminal never far away. Here’s the working stack behind Center Point Labs—from the workstation to the edge.

01 / Interfaces
HTML, CSS, JavaScript & TypeScript. React, Next.js, Vite and Tailwind CSS where they fit. Plain HTML and JavaScript when that’s all a project needs.
02 / Applications & data
Node.js, Cloudflare Workers, PostgreSQL & D1. R2 for files and photos; Durable Objects for stateful features. The database and runtime depend on the job.
03 / Hosting & delivery
Cloudflare, Vercel & DigitalOcean. Serverless sites and APIs, plus Docker and Caddy for applications that need a server. Git tracks the work.
04 / AI & agents
OpenAI / Codex, Anthropic / Claude & OpenClaw. Used for research, design exploration, writing and revising code, debugging, and running checks. Models change as the tools evolve.
05 / Payments & integrations
Stripe, HTTP APIs & webhooks. Checkout, payment records, and connections between systems. Google sign-in and passkeys appear in projects that need them.
06 / Verification
Playwright & project-specific automated tests. Browser interactions, responsive layouts, data validation, and error paths. A mobile-size browser check isn’t the same as a test on a physical phone.
07 / Workbench
Arch Linux (rolling release) & Visual Studio Code. Linux is the daily development environment; VS Code is the editor. A MacBook Air M1 rounds out the workbench. Git, terminal sessions, Python and shell scripts keep repeatable work repeatable.
08 / Images & creative tools
darktable, GIMP, ExifTool & ImageMagick. RAW development, image editing, metadata, and web exports. Photography and visual design are part of the build, too.
09 / This website
HTML, CSS & vanilla JavaScript on Cloudflare Workers. Google Analytics is optional and consent-based. CPL checkout uses Stripe. No framework needed for this website.
10 / Silicon
AMD Ryzen 5 8600G · NVIDIA RTX 2060. Six cores / twelve threads, with a discrete GPU for the creative workload. darktable uses the RTX 2060 through OpenCL for RAW development.
11 / Delivery plumbing
Git · Wrangler · Docker · Caddy. Versioned source, Cloudflare Worker deployments, containerized server applications, and HTTPS at the server edge. Static assets where possible; APIs and persistent state where needed.
12 / Agent plumbing
OpenClaw · MCP · HTTP APIs. Tools and project context connected to an AI-assisted workflow. Public agent experiments use bounded tools for record lookups and reviewable drafts; the underlying application remains ordinary, inspectable software.

AI-assisted. Personally accountable. I direct the work, make the product decisions, and take responsibility for what I deliver. I don’t claim every line is hand-typed. The point is useful software, clear scope, and checking that it does what we agreed.

This is the working toolkit across my projects—not a claim that every site uses every tool. Client systems and data stay private.

About Center Point Labs

Lifelong spark. Modern tools. Useful software.

Center Point Labs is an independent software studio in the Texas Hill Country, operated by nicksosa.tech LLC and led by Nicholas Sosa. We build business websites, online stores, photography platforms, and tools for creators—with thoughtful design and a practical understanding of the people who will use them.

The person behind the work

Nicholas has spent a lifetime exploring, using, and building with computer software. His background includes studying computer science and working with privately owned Internet businesses in Carson City, Nevada, during the 2000s, followed by years helping people and small businesses make technology work for them.

He writes code, works directly with the underlying systems, and brings that experience to an AI-assisted development process. Today’s tools expand what an independent studio can accomplish; the spark behind the work goes back decades.

How we build

We start with the job the software needs to do: who it serves, what gets in their way, and what a successful result looks like. From there, we build working prototypes, refine the experience, and test the important paths—from a visitor’s first click to the tools an owner uses every day.

AI is an active part of that process: researching approaches, generating and revising code, exploring designs, and helping investigate problems. Nicholas directs the work and makes the product decisions. The result is a close, iterative collaboration between an experienced builder and a powerful set of development tools.

Inside the workshop

Our toolchain combines frontier AI with established software infrastructure:

The advantage is a shorter path from an idea to something you can actually try—and more opportunities to refine it along the way.

A direct working relationship

You work with the person shaping and building your software. Scope, deliverables, licensing, and ongoing costs are agreed clearly. Your content and branding remain yours, and paid packages and custom builds include 60 free days of Care Plus from handoff under our published terms. Optional care plans start at $99/month.

Built in the Hill Country. Ready for what’s next.
